Kaprije

Kaprije is a small island in the Sibenik archipelago with only 143 residents and no automobiles! Grapes, olives and of course tourism are the main industries on the island with all visitors being made very welcome to this small authentic Croatian island. The only settlement is Kaprige which is on the south west of the island.  Occasionally residents of Murter come to nurture their land on the hamlet of Medos, on the north east side.

Primosten

Primosten is on the Adriatic coast situated between the cities of Sibenik and Trogir and just north of Kremik Marina (2 hours sail).  This breathtakingly beautiful town is famous for its large and beautiful vineyards and also for having one of the 10 prettiest beaches (Mala Raduca) in Croatia.

Zlarin

Zlarin is also known as ‘Golden Island’ due to its untouched beauty and crystal clear waters.  The Island is extremely small, and situated near the city of Sibenik.  Red corals are what Zlarin is famous for. Look out for a local good luck ceremony that is held for sailors going on a night sail for coral, where songs are sung and people are in traditional folk costumes!

Murter

The island of Murter is located North West of the Sibenik islands, only separated from the mainland by a sea canal at Tisno. The island is one of the most visited in this region, proving popular with tourists and sailors alike. The marina is a comfortable size with 350 berths on its premises. There are many rocky beaches on the island, although with a bit of searching you should find a bit of sand! The history of the island is in agriculture and fishing, one such produce is the excellent olive oil that they produce…. Worth while picking some up on your travels!

Zut

The island of Zut is the second largest in the Kornati, at just over 6 miles long.  On the North West coast you’ll find a busy ACI marina where there’s a restaurant serving great local cuisine and also a supermarket if you need to stock up on supplies – it does however tend to be expensive. If you want to keep away from the marina on the south east of the island there is an anchorage called Uvala Hilijaca.
