Serce Limani
Serce Harbour is not actually a harbour but a little bay walled in by mountains. The oldest ancient ship ever to be salvaged has been found here. The entrance to the bay is difficult to identify until you are close to it, but once through the entrance the bay opens dramatically. There’s a restaurant, Captain Nemo’s Farm, at the northern end of the bay where there are laid moorings. It sells great village bread and seafood dishes. This bay can become crowded in peak season so you may have to drop anchor where you can!Sogut
Sogut is a tranquil Turkish village on the eastern end of the Gulf of Simi. A magnificent bay which is like the land time forgot. On a clear day you can see the Greek Island of Symi, but none the less watching the sun set over the sea and drink in hand can’t be beaten. Away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, Sogut is a wonderful village to explore. There is a weekly Monday market and a vegetable van that pays a visit to the village in the morning, where you can pick up locally grown produce for your trip. Sogut is also a great place to snorkel, head to the southern end of the bay and you’ll see the remains of an ancient fortress.Selimiye
In Selimiye there are ruins of three castles of the ancient city of Hydas in the area. One of them is on the highest hill of Selimiye, one other on Sarıkaya Hill and the last in Aşarkale in the Kızılköy district. To the south east of the cove you can visit the Hellenistic era city walls. Among the ruins it is worth seeing, 100 metres off the outlet to the sea, the monitoring tower built to show ships the way, the lighthouse, monastery and the theatre.Dirsek Bay
Relaxing, peaceful and rejuvenating are all words which describe Dirsek Bay. Only accessed by boat, Dirsek Bay is a perfect place to come and unwind. The crystal clear water is a great place to dig out your snorkelling equipment and have a good old look at the sea life. In the daytime you may well see a fishing boat selling their catch of the day, it couldn’t be any fresher (just don’t feel too guilty for swimming with its relatives).Loryma
Heading around the Karaburun point you sail into Bozuk Buku, also known as the ancient city of Loryma. Swimming and diving are all possible from Bozukkale - an incomparably grand cove with ruins, restaurants and an ancient citadel on the hill above, which on a clear day you can see Rhodes. The mountain slopes of this peninsula are a welcome relief from the burnt mountain slopes.- Make an Enquiry
