Additional Costs
Fuel - like a hire car you only pay for what you use
Transit log - you need to pay a transit log (yacht papers) in Croatia (€35) and Turkey (€95).
Please note: Please remember that as a charter yacht gets older, the higher the propensity for breakages, no matter how good the maintenance program. This is why you will find the Economy and Class boats are cheaper than the new ones! Please take this into account when selecting a yacht for your next sailing holiday.
The same applies for the aesthetics of the yacht, no matter how much the yacht is cleaned and polished the paint and decks will dull and the odd ding and scrape will occur.
