The Kornati Islands, Croatia

This wonderful sailing area in Croatia had an overall average rating by our clients of 9.5/10, with most clients rating it 10/10.

"The Kornati islands are a dream"

"I have sailed in Greece, Turkey, (and) now Croatia. This was by far the best sailing. Good places to visit, great wind, good friendly people"

"...the bays and other 'wilder' anchorages were delightful and quiet"

The Kornati islands in Croatia are a stunning natural beauty. With over 1400 islands spread across the entire country, it's not hard to imagine that 95% of them are in the space between Primosten in the south and Pula in the North - the area we generally regard as the Kornati Islands.

This tag isn't quite accurate however, as the Kornati Islands are actually only a very small (southern) part of this wider area. They form the Kornati National Park and Telašćica Nature Park, which was  awarded this status in 1980 due to its outstanding natural beauty.

Today, the Kornati National Park and Telašćica Nature Park and surrounding areas are enjoyed by thousands of sailors over the summer, who enjoy the beautiful nature, the wild looking environment, the small bays, the great tavernas and the great winds.

It's perfect for sailors wanting to get away from it all, though Aurora nightclub in Primosten does get a mention from a few of our clients as a BIG night out!.
